With over 30 years of experience, Michael is expert at executing large, complex projects. In addition to managing various GRE biotech real estate projects, Michael consults with businesses in the food sector. His current projects include Eastern Carolina Organics, the south’s largest distributor of organic produce and Videri Chocolate factory, a bean to bar organic chocolate maker. He also serves on the Board of Directors at UNC's Gillings School of Global Public Health and has served on the economic development counsels for three North Carolina governors.  As well, Michael has served on the V Foundation Board (ESPN) and numerous Art councils. Previously, Michael was managing principal of Greenbridge, a LEED-Gold, $65M mixed-use project in Chapel Hill, NC.

 

Cucchiara earned a BS in agricultural irrigation engineering from the University of Arizona, and has distributed and manufactured irrigation equipment in over 90 countries.
