East Hartford, CT - On September 17th, the Hartford Business Journal hosted its annual 40 Under Forty awards gala, honoring 40 young professionals in the Greater Hartford area who are excelling in their industries through their leadership roles. This year’s event, themed "Coming Back from Covid-19," took place at Pratt & Whitney Stadium/Rentschler Field.
GRE's founder and managing principal Ford Gurall was one of the 40 honorees

Gurall has risen through the real estate development and construction ranks since beginning his career in 2004. By the time he was 29 years old, he had successfully developed and built seven major hotel projects throughout the Northeast. Ford is also highly experienced in end-to-end build-outs of life science facilities, having successfully delivered over 1 million square feet of lab, biotech, and technology spaces.

“Ford is driven by success and motivated by challenges," said Beth Taylor, GRE's Director of Business Development. "He is a role model to his peers and industry colleagues, and his problem-solving capabilities are second to none. From juggling extensive client work, volunteering in the community, and dedicating time to his family, Ford’s recognition is greatly deserved.”

“Being a part of this exclusive list is extremely humbling,” said Gurall. “Real estate development and construction management have given me the platform to learn from some amazing people and expand my capabilities as a client advisor, business leader and mentor.”
