Ford Gurall

Founder and Managing Principal

Ford is a real estate development and construction professional with specialized industry experience in laboratory environments, hospitality, mixed-use urban, and commercial office development. Ford has managed design, permitting, construction, budgets, debt service, and operations turnover for development work valued in excess of $750M. As the Founder and Managing Principal of GRE, Ford is primarily responsible for owner’s representation that encompasses project design, planning, construction cost analysis, contract negotiation, development, and re-positioning of real estate assets.


Ford has been retained by multiple Fortune 500 companies as a third-party executive to assemble build-to-suit developments, mitigate underperforming project teams, and help outsource corporate real estate activities. Additionally, Ford, along with the entire GRE team, is responsible for financial oversight and underwriting that includes construction interest forecasting, LTV analysis, development budget assembly, investment models, and construction cost comparisons.


Ford is an avid skier who along with his wife Abby hope to one day share some of his favorite extreme destinations with this two sons Jack and Henry. Off the slopes Ford he can be found demoing, hammering, nailing, hanging, and doing pretty much everything besides painting on his home renovation projects.

Tony Bonacci

Director of Construction Phase Services

Tony has developed and managed large commercial, institutional, and multifamily residential projects. Project roles have included: Design Engineer, Survey Crew Chef, Estimator, Director of Construction and Design. Tony has developed projects from Pro forma Analysis, Property Acquisition, Site Approvals, Construction, and Property Management. After college, Tony was a Design Engineer for two engineering firms designing condominium and commercial sites throughout Connecticut. In 1985, Tony switched his focus from engineering to construction management. Tony’s work includes projects in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Prior to joining GRE, Tony served as Director of Construction for Mack-Cali and R.D. Scinto and Vice President of Construction for Ginsburg Development and Marcus Partners.

In his free time, Tony enjoys exploring and traveling to new places. He also loves any activity pertaining to old collector cars.

Loretta Howley

Director of Finance

Loretta is a seasoned construction professional with expertise in accounting and project management. At GRE, Loretta is responsible for maintaining project forecasts, job costing, budget assembly, overall billing, and executive level reporting. This includes reconciling project “accounting” ledgers to client ledgers and recording POs, Contracts, and Commitments, as well as maintaining GRE’s project management software, Procore, where accurate records of all invoices can be found. Loretta is responsible for preparing “Requisition” / “Draw” packages, any tax audit reconciliations, and general office accounting in QuickBooks where she files quarterly taxes, maintains insurance programs, processes ADP payroll, and administers health and benefits programs. 

Loretta, a United States Air Force veteran, transitioned into the private sector working for General Electric and DuPont. In the construction industry, she served as both Senior Contract Administrator and Controller before joining GRE. 

Loretta also loves puzzles, hence her love for this industry, as there is no better place than the front lines to build relationships and watch the puzzle of construction projects come to life. In her free time, Loretta enjoys painting landscapes, re-purposing furniture, traveling, glamping, and pampering her Goldendoodle named Ginger.

Director of Business Development

With nearly 20 years of experience in the Architectural, Construction & Engineering (A/E/C) industry, Beth has a record of achievement in meeting the business development and marketing needs for professional services firms. Her past experience includes work in project development, marketing, public relations, communications, networking + relationship building, corporate branding, event planning, and market research. 

At GRE, Beth is responsible for developing new business relationships, maintaining  client relationships after project start-up, and serving as the firm's chief marketing strategist as GRE continues to expand in various national markets.

In her free time, Beth enjoys traveling, reading, live music, completing challenging workout programs, all things fastpitch softball, and spending time with her husband Chad, their two daughters and canine companion Eli.
