GRE is pleased to announce it has partnered with the International WELL Building Institute and is now offering services to help landlords and tenants re-open with confidence, reassure employees and customers, and strengthen pandemic recovery efforts.

GRE’s staff can help your existing building achieve the WELL Health-Safety Rating standard - a third party, evidence-based rating for commercial buildings that prioritizes the health of building occupants and ensures the safest possible work environment amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Launched in June 2020, the WELL Health-Safety Rating indicates a long-term commitment to health and safety standards. Its comprehensive and rigorous approach to wellness can provide a competitive advantage for landlords and tenants in this era and well beyond the pandemic.
The certification can be displayed prominently on your building, telling patrons, occupants and the general public that your owner-operator efforts include a critical focus on:

  • Cleaning and Sanitization Procedures
  • Emergency Preparedness Programs
  • Heath Service Resources
  • Air and Water Quality Management

The third-party verified rating can be applied to all new and existing building and space types and focuses on operational policies, maintenance protocols, emergency plans, and stakeholder engagement strategies to help organizations prepare their spaces for re-entry and beyond.
As of November 2020, more than 7,500 projects in 21 countries have pursued the WELL Heath-Safety Rating, accounting for more than 400 million square feet of space. Among the facilities that have been WELL Health-Safety Rated are Yankee Stadium and the Empire State Building.
